One comment stuck out as the poster left a link to his splog of yet another person's blog, trying to draw traffic to his own fake blog advertising AdwareAlert. Bleh.
Same company as spywarebot.xxx, which exploits the name Spybot Search & Destroy, a legitimate and popular free program.

AdwareAlert was delisted but;
Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products & Web Sites

That an application has been de-listed should not be understood as an endorsement or recommendation of any kind. We still recommend that users consult the short list of "trustworthy" anti-spyware applications.

Lorelle Vanfossen has an informative article about content theft for those who need advice.

For tracking rogues and their affiliates, the sploggers I referred to are sometimes quite useful. ;-)

Ive seen a increase in these Blogs lately too.
I have Google Alerts set up for keywords like spyware, ect. and when I check em out, I notice right away that they are set up to profit from malicious programs.
Usually a give away is the length of time they have been up.
