As reported by members in the McAfee Community Forums, an update produces crashes and blue screens on Windows 7 64 bit systems.

A user posted that s/he was told it was a known problem but a fix could take three weeks. Apparently this is not a new issue as in May 2010 a poster said “Mcafee has been promising a fix for a while.”
